On deadline day, 19-year-old Isak Hansen-Aaroen left Old Trafford for good.He got a deal with Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga to play midfield for them.

There were only five months left on Hansen-Aaroen’s deal with Manchester United.

The Red Devils wanted to sign him to a new deal that would keep him there until 2028, but they weren’t ready to pay him the way he wanted to be paid for an extra year.

The deal with Bremen is thought to include a transfer fee as well as any possible add-ons.If and when Hansen-Aaroen leaves the Weserstadion, there is also a sell-on fee built in.

United will also be able to respond to any offers that come in.

Hansen-Aaroen moved to United from his old team, Tromso, in 2020, to a lot of fanfare. He had just made his senior appearance at age 15.

But he wasn’t able to make it into the Red Devils’ first team.Erik ten Hag was ready to let him go because, unlike Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo, he didn’t see a clear way for him to get into his senior team any time soon.

But fans weren’t happy, and they let everyone know on Twitter how angry they were.

The answer from one fan was “terrible decision.”

Someone moaned: “I can’t seem to get over selling him and Garner while McTominay keeps starting all games, I can’t wait for DOF appointment so that they guy reigns in these stupid decisions made to sell such good players.”

“What is this club doing getting rid of talented people like this?” asked a third. Don’t they know what happened with Pogba? We’ll buy them back for a lot more in the end.”
