Jurgen Klopp bought a house on the Balearic island of Mallorca for £3.4 million and is turning it into “an ecological family paradise.”
The Liverpool manager shocked football fans on Friday when he said he would be leaving Anfield in May after nine years, even though he still had two years left on his contract.
Klopp, 56, said he was quitting because he was “running out of energy,” and he hinted that he might never be good at football again. The German wasn’t sure what he would do after leaving Liverpool, but he could relax in his mansion in the Mediterranean if he wanted to take a break from football.

The heating and cooling systems are linked together, according to Bild, Klopp has turned the villa into a low-energy house.
A computer controls both systems to keep the house at the same temperature no matter what the weather is like outside.
Bild adds that all electrical appliances and gadgets are controlled by a main system that Klopp can access from his phone.
The setup is meant to cut down on power use by up to 75%, and a brand-new, cutting-edge irrigation system is meant to know when it needs to be used.The ‘Son Bunyola’ hotel, which is owned by British billionaire Richard Branson, hired the same company to create the garden for this property.
Klopp is thought to stay at a nearby hotel when he comes to the island, but that will change once the renovations are done.
Lawrenson said it would be well worth the wait, even though the work is still going on.
