Larsen, who is 31, moved from Brentford to Manchester United for free in the summer of 2022 and has since played more than 50 times for the Red Devils under Erik ten Hag.

The Denmark international has only played three Premier League games since the middle of November, though, because of injuries and the rise of Kobbie Mainoo as a midfield star.

Last week was the end of the winter transfer window for English teams, and United chose not to make any signings. Some less important players did leave, and Eriksen could be one of them. Turkish teams have until February 9 to sign players.Fotomac says that United and Eriksen have had “secret talks” with Galatasaray about a possible loan deal for the winger. There would be a chance in the deal to make the switch official in the summer.

The story also says that if the clubs can’t agree on a deal for Eriksen to join before the deadline in Turkey this week, then a “promise” will be made for a move in the summer.

Eriksen’s current deal at Old Trafford lasts until the summer of 2025, but the former Tottenham and Inter Milan star made it sound like he wasn’t happy with his place in the team after Ten Hag dropped him in October.”I think you should ask the coach what he thinks,” Eriksen told the Danish newspaper Ekstrabladet about why he wasn’t with the team. “Injuries on defense have hurt us a lot.” We’ve just given up too many goals. I got sick last week, but now I’m fine. I’m perfect. My body feels good, and I want to play every game.

“But if you’ve seen the games, you may also notice that [Ten Hag] plays with a little different types than I do,” he said right before a round of Euro 2024 trials.

Mainoo, 18, has been playing really well lately and has helped his image even more. He started with Casemiro in Sunday’s 3-0 win over West Ham. The player who came in during the game, Scott McTominay, has also moved ahead of Eriksen at Old Trafford.
