Enzo Fernandez insists he is “very happy” at Chelsea and is keen for a long-term future at the club.
Fernandez, 23, has a contract at Stamford Bridge through 2031 after signing an eight-and-a-half-year deal in January 2023.
Chelsea signed the Argentina international from Benfica after agreeing to a British record €120 million (£106 million) deal.
Fernandez has made 52 appearances for Chelsea and has scored seven goals, including in each of the side’s most recent two matches, against Aston Villa and Crystal Palace.
“I don’t know where those rumours (of being unhappy at Chelsea) are from, but I think from social media,” Fernandez told ESPN.
“I totally deny it; I do not want to leave Chelsea, and I am really happy here.
“I have a really good relationship with my teammates, with the coach, and with the people in the club.
“From my first day here, I have been treated wonderfully, and I am really grateful.
“More than just what happens on the pitch in football, I am very happy at Chelsea, and I will stay here as long as they want.”
Chelsea, 10th in the Premier League table, are next in action against Manchester City on Saturday.
